My Week as a Kennel Helper
Eliza Nardone is our volunteer who will arrive in April to spend one week working in an active racing kennel at Wonderland Greyhound Park. We are all wondering wether Eliza will be able to work without her camera around her neck. She will surely find her three foot long lens too cumbersome to wear while working. She is serving a one week internship as a kennel helper in the North Shore Kennel, owned by William O'Donnell, Sr. "Billy, Sr." is known for his revision to the spelling rules in the English language, and his inability to answer the phone during Red Sox or Patriot games. Eliza will be doing everything that a kennel person is responsible for during that week, including picking up poop many times a day. The price of Eliza's internship is giving a talk to all Expo attendees at Wonderland on Friday June 15th. She will share with you her duties and impressions of working in a real racing kennel. Have your questions ready for her! Another volunteer will be working at Raynham so you will be able to compare their experiences. Eliza Nardone is President of CT Greyhound Placement/GPA
