Some hands on assistance may be requested of the Greyhounds owner. Comforting and help keeping the jaw slightly open to check the molars on the lower arch. Most greyhounds will tolerate their teeth being cleaned and scaled. Giving your greyhound a tartar buster or similar to chew when all of the calculus is not removed will help chip off most of the visible buildup, mainly on the tongue side of the teeth and the outside of the lower molars. Each dog’s cleaning will require a different amount of time depending on the amount of calculus and how long it has been there. Instructor |
